The Mid-Willamette Valley Council of Governments (MWVCOG) provides assistance with:
- Community and Economic Development projects and services,
- Land Use Planning services, including serving as the contract planner for over 20 jurisdictions as well as providing long range planning assistance, and
- Housing Rehabilitation Services in Marion County.
MWVCOG staff is available to serve on an as needed basis for cities and counties located in Marion, Polk, and Yamhill Counties.
MWVCOG also serves as the federally designated Economic Development District (EDD) for the region. We work to provide effective, efficient delivery of economic development services benefiting healthy and sustainable communities and services. We operate regionally: forging strategies, solutions and partnerships that achieve clear, quantifiable and tangible results, most of which could not have been feasible for a single jurisdiction or partner to implement.
