Regional Planning and Development Services

The Mid-Willamette Valley Council of Governments (MWVCOG) can assist with regional planning projects and services on an as needed basis for cities and counties located in Marion, Polk and Yamhill Counties.  The MWVCOG works to provide effective, efficient delivery of economic development services benefiting healthy and sustainable communities and services.  We operate regionally: forging strategies, solutions and partnerships that achieve clear, quantifiable and tangible results, most of which could not have been feasible for a single jurisdiction or partner to implement.

Recent examples of MWVCOG supported projects and services are provided here.

The MWVCOG can also provide special planning services such as: Planning Commissioner training, Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping, and long-range planning assistance.
