Title VI Complaint Process and Form

Title VI of the Civil Rights Act and additional related statutes prohibits discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, and income status. If an individual believes they have been discriminated against, they have the right to file a complaint.

SKATS is committed to preventing discrimination in all its programs and activities. This includes full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes and regulations. Federal law prohibits intimidation or retaliation of any kind for filing a complaint.  A person must file a complaint no more than 180 calendar days after either the date of the alleged act of discrimination, or the date when the person(s) became aware of the alleged discrimination.
